Come to historic Savannah, Georgia for the Bayberry Writing Conference and Book Festival! During this four-day conference, your writing will be workshopped by poet and creative nonfiction writer Charlotte Pence or fiction writer Adam Prince. When we are not discussing participants’ writing, we will attend readings from some of the best and most successful writers in the country including Jeannette Walls, John Berendt, Ross Gay, Tim O’Brien, Jane Anne Phillips, and Linda Vallarosa.
We will stay in the iconic Marshall House Hotel, part of Savannah’s history since 1851. It’s right in the heart of downtown, walking distance from the book festival, and an ideal home base for strolls along the cobblestone streets amongst cascading Spanish moss and blooming Azaleas. Savannah is the oldest and arguably most atmospheric city in Georgia, so it’s certain to inspire your writing.
Conference Registration includes:

- Generative writing session Sunday morning
- Tickets to Keynote with Jeannette Walls, author of The Glass Castle

Cost: $950, $650 for first 10 people to register
Travel and hotel are not included. We have reserved a block of rooms at the elegant Marshall House Hotel. Make your room reservations directly with the Marshall House as soon as possible because they fill up quickly for the book festival.
